For someone with slightly oily hair, I would suggest the Herbal Essence shampoo in the red bottle, the "None of Your Friziness shampoo. I love Herbal Essences, but have been most happy with the separate shampoo/condtioners rather than the 2 in 1's. I received this as a sample, otherwise I may not have tried it. My hair was soft and smooth after use and smelled great! It really helps prevent fading, which I really loved! If someone has dry hair, I would certainly suggest an additional conditioner be added to the morning routine. I normally have oily hair and it dried my hair out a bit! I would suggest using an additional conditioner afterwards. Herbal Essences Color Me Happy 2 in 1 Shampoo + Conditioner is, overall, a just OK product. True Herbal Essence Color Me Happy 2 in 1 is just OK This particular shampoo (color me happy) is great for color treated hair and is a less expensive alternative to paying salon price. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to feel a little spoiled without feeling giulty about spending the money. Also this brand is resonalble price and also offer coupons in the P&G brand saver that comes in the news paper once a month. Other brands I have tried do not use enough conditioner and then I can not get a brush through my hair. Herbal Essences is a great brand for any girl! The products come in differnet sizes, sents, and fit for any hair type. I like that the Herbal Essences 2 in 1 brand has a nice balance between shampoo and conditioner. I also like that color me happy 2 in1 leves my hair feeling clean, soft, and smooth. This shampoo smells amazing and doesn't suck the color out of my hair. I love this shampoo and conditioner in one! It is cheap and convenient. True I love Herbal Essences color Me Happy 2 in1 The question is on one bottle while the answer is on the other and vice versa. they each have a question and answer on each but the answer does not go with the question on that particular bottle. So my hair smells great and I have curls instead of frizz which is a big plus.Ī great feature about the packaging is each set of shampoo and conditioner comes with a question and anwer each. I also have curly hair and it helps with keeping the moisture in my locks. Secondly after each shower my hair feels soft and manageable. Its not quite like the commercials, no orgasms or anything, but close. Through out the day I love swinging my hair just to catch a whiff of my hair. It is an absolutly great product.įirst off I love the way it makes my hair smell, its like I have a garden on top of my head. I love Herbal Essence Color Me Happy Shampoo and Conditioner for color treated hair. True A great product for color treated hair! It's low priced so if it doesn't work for you you won't be out much money. I recommend giving this product a try at least. ![]() I did notice that my hair color lasted a little longer than usual, but not a significant amount of time. It's not as good as when I use a separate shampoo and conditioner but it's better than the other 2 in 1's I've tried. Unlike other shampoo and conditioner combo's this one actually makes my dry damaged hair fairly manageable when I am styling my hair. Like usual the Herbal Essence shampoo + conditioner smells GREAT. Red hair color is known for fading quickly because the red pigment doesn't stick to hair, so I am always trying products that claim to extend my hair color. The Clairol Herbal Essences Color Me Happy 2 in 1 Shampoo + Conditioner is actually pretty good though! I am naturally a redhead but dye my hair darker shades of red. I will be keeping a bottle of each on hand as long as they remain available.I am always iffy about buying 2 in 1 products because they never seem to be effective for my dry damaged hair. They are priced reasonably and give me reliable results. These cost around $4.50 each at Walgreens. So far I don’t feel as though my hair is weighed down at all. It left my hair easy to comb through after showering and 6 hours later, I can still smell the fragrance lingering in my hair. The fragrance of the shampoo is fantastic but it is slightly different in the conditioner, not quite as nice. If you have oily hair, I would only use it on the tips. The conditioner is a little thick and moisturizes well. The shampoo has a good lather and cleans well. These seem to work as well as I remember them working before. About a year ago I tried the Herbal Essences Drama Clean Shampoo and I really disliked it so I never tried any of the other products. ![]() The whole Herbal Essences haircare line was reformulated and redesigned several years ago. The fragrance is like happiness in a bottle. These shampoos and conditioners were my some of my favorite ones back in high school and I was so bummed when these were discontinued.

4 The translation of each term was performed by a neuro-ophthalmologist following the standard English-Korean terminology provided by the Korean Medical Association. Previously published standard criteria were used after being translated into Korean. We performed a retrospective review of patients referred to a neuro-ophthalmology outpatient clinic with “positive visual disturbance” between November 2016 and October 2019. Atypical neuro-ophthalmologic findings in patients with visual snow syndrome are reported. This study examined the ocular characteristics of 20 patients with visual snow syndrome, including the pupillary light reflex, contrast sensitivity, and electrophysiological studies, as well as the clinical features of comorbid diseases and treatment responses. 8, 9 Since visual snow is suggested to share some pathophysiological mechanisms with migraine visual aura, these parameters may help in identifying visual snow syndrome and inferring the underlying pathophysiology. However, none of these previous reports have included pupillary light reflex and contrast sensitivity in these patients, whereas both of these measurements are reported to be abnormal in patients with migraine visual aura. There are a few case series that have described ophthalmological findings of visual snow. ![]() 6 Beside neurological diseases, retinal diseases, persistent migraine aura, and hallucinogenic drugs must be excluded as possible causes of visual snow and palinopsia-visual snow syndrome must be diagnosed by exclusion after a thorough ophthalmic examination. 4, 5 While visual snow syndrome is typically benign, 4 it occasionally appears as the first symptom of serious neurological diseases such as the Heidenhain variant of Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease. 2, 3 In addition to visual snow persisting for more than 3 months, the International Headache Society diagnostic criteria specify that patients must also have at least two of the following symptoms: excessive entoptic phenomenon, palinopsia, photophobia, and nyctalopia. ![]() 1 Cortical hyperexcitability and thalamocortical dysrhythmia are potential mechanisms for explaining the persistent symptoms. ![]() Visual snow is an uncommon phenomenon that is characterized by the perception of TV static-like “snow” in the entire visual field. Overall, Syberia: The World Before is a really good adventure that gets it mostly right, but better, more challenging puzzles and patched glitches would make the game even better.Kate was aware of cold before her, heat behind. Also not a big deal, but there were also some spelling mistakes, mispronunciations by some voice actors, and some annoying "invisible walls" that prevent you from exploring some areas that look like you can go there (instead of making it look roped off). Since there's no reference to the character, it will likely cause confusion players. Another issue is a potential glitch, when the character Oscar makes its unexpected return in the game (known to those who've played previous Syberia games). None in Syberia: The World Before are particularly challenging, which could make players feel like they're merely clicking through a story that's all been laid out for you opposed to your decisions and puzzle skills helping to shape the narrative. The biggest issue with the game is the lack of ingenious puzzles found in the original Syberia games. The developers could have at least added a spacebar skip so long as the dialog was heard once. But it's too bad you can't skip dialog or cut-scene sequences, if you've already seen and heard them, though, which is a little annoying. Optional "Introspection" moments are a nice touch for those who want to really get into the story. Characters like Kate and Dana are easy to fall for, as are some supporting characters, so those who love a meaty story won't be disappointed. It's available in multiple languages, too, which is even more impressive given the many thousands of lines of spoken dialog. The characters and voice acting are extraordinary. Syberia: The World Before is highly enjoyable, but simple puzzles and technical glitches somewhat taint the overall experience. Those with a yen for adventure games should fall for the charm of this title, because it's an emotional, beautiful story full of mystery, intrigue, love and loss. Speaking of machines, the series continues with "automatons," which are lifelike mechanical machines that drive trains, or play instruments (which includes recurring characters like Oscar, who shows up in another body altogether). These puzzles could be environmental (like finding a key to unlock a door), jumping between time periods to get useful information, or figuring out the workings of a mechanism in order to start a machine. Players must walk around locations, interact with people, collect items, and solve conundrums to advance the story. ![]() ![]() ![]() It also deals with themes like love and romance, death of loved ones, fascist political parties, and other mature themes. Trace elements or inclusions and refraction of microscopic gas bubbles can produce rare color variations, markings, and iridescent or metallic “sheens.” The name comes from the Latin obsidianus, an erroneous transcription of obsianus, meaning “the stone of Obsius,” the prominent Roman who discovered it. Obsidian is most frequently jet black, but can be dark brown, gray or gray-green. It is an amorphous material known as a “mineraloid” with a hardness of 5 to 5.5, and is usually opaque except on thin edges. Obsidian forms from molten lava in the last stages of volcanic eruptions, the remaining silica minerals that flow onto the surface and are super-cooled into glass before crystallization can occur. Ancient Greek civilizations used Obsidian balls and flat mirrors for scrying, and Native American cultures used Obsidian in their spiritual ceremonies to sharpen inner sight. The Olmecs fashioned concave mirrors capable of lighting fires, and the Maya and Aztecs wore Obsidian mirrors to show elite status, and polished it into sheets for divining a person’s destiny. In ancient Mexico and surrounding regions Obsidian was known as iztli or teotetl, meaning “the divine stone,” used to carve amulets, jewelry, grave ornaments, and images of the god Tezcatlipoca, whose name means “smoking mirror,” and who was said to see all that occurred in the world and heavens through his Obsidian mirror. They also chose Obsidian as the pupils of the eyes in their famous Moai (statues) to endow them with authority and a spiritual essence. In the Middle East, it was esteemed for its sharpness and precision in ritual circumcision, ancient Melanesians honed pointed pieces for tattooing the skin, and peoples on Rapa Nui (Easter Island) made multipurpose tools called mata’a for food preparation and cultivation. Pre-Columbian Mesoamericans fashioned a sword with Obsidian blades mounted in a wooden body, called a macuahuitl, that was capable of inflicting horrific injuries, and Obsidian daggers were reputed to be used in bloodletting and human sacrifice. Obsidian’s conchoidal fracture allows it to break into pieces with curved surfaces and very sharp edges, and it has been found around the world fashioned into arrowheads, spear points, knives, axe heads, scrapers and various other cutting instruments. The use of Obsidian dates to the Old Stone Age, and many cultures relied heavily on this material in their daily, ritual, and spiritual lives. It is highly protective, shielding one from negativity in the environment, from others, and from within the self. Obsidian provides essential grounding, connecting the base of the spine to the heart of the earth. It impels growth and resolution, and lends solid support and direction during the process. It reveals the reasons behind one’s imperfections and causes of dis-ease, and provides a clear picture of the changes needed to ameliorate them. ![]() ![]() This shamanic stone can be brutal and direct, yet it carries the wonderful power of catharsis and deep soul healing. I always have a humbling moment during these training camps, and nearly all of Day Two was a “humble pie buffet”, but I was aware that being able-bodied enough to complete this trek (when just two weeks prior I couldn’t run without my lower leg blowing up in searing pain), was remarkable, and a feat to be proud of.Īnd I am happy to report that the sketchy canyon drive back down to Santa Monica was bathed in sunlight, and death-defyingly free. I was enjoying my time with my teammates, but I felt off, and didn’t quite find my “giddy up” the entire day. Unfortunately, the combination of barely sleeping the night before, and living through a genuine near-death experience haunted me throughout the day. I was beyond rattled, and honestly amazed to be alive. When I pulled into the dirt parking lot, I nearly kissed the ground. Soon enough I was out of the fog, but quickly onto another crazy, windy, and narrow road, Yerba Buena, twisting and turning my way nervously to the desired location. There was no shoulder to stop safely and regain my bearings, I had to keep driving and simply pray I would peak out of the fog eventually/avert driving over the edge of the canyon. The route to the Mishe Mokwa parking area from my hotel in Santa Monica took me up through Encinal Rd., a road I’ve ridden on my bike numerous times, so I “knew” where I was going, but I couldn’t see more than a few feet ahead of my Jeep due to the unrelenting fog. We couldn’t quite shake the fog all weekend, and although it’s cool and romantic in most settings, it switches to frightening and treacherous while driving through it on pitch black canyon roads. The following Saturday morning was the closest I have ever felt to losing my life. True, I would’ve preferred not to have had a painful oozing lip of inner turmoil attached as a beacon to my lip all weekend, my large stature is usually enough to help me stand out in a crowd, but that embarrassment didn’t stop me from putting one foot in front of the other along very tricky and grueling trails spanning across the Santa Monica Mountains for six plus hours a day (hiking, running, tripping, but never falling) for three days straight. Rather they were a constant reminder that there is always more going on than meets the eye. ![]() Meanwhile, the three cold sores (that’s right, THREE) that I started camp off with are still resting comfortably on my bottom lip, but I am certain their origin sprouted from a deeper stress than the three action-packed days of trail running/hiking with the most incredible teammates and heroes I know. The pain has improved exponentially from yesterday (Monday), which is better than fine because I ventured into the 3-day Biscay Coaching Backbone Trail Camp prepared to hobble out of it, instead I ran out with only a couple of blisters, many new friends, and a resounding belief that I am on the right path.
